Understanding Peace and Conflict Course
This is a 15 module introductory course which explores Peace and Conflict issues. It was developed by the Glencree Centre in collaboration with 6 third-level Colleges in Afghanistan: Herat, Kabul, Kabul Polytechnic, Kabul Education and Kandahar Universities and Maimana Institute of Higher Education, with the support of The Afghan Ministry for Higher Education as a Training for Trainers programme with 30 College Lecturers who annually facilitate the programme for 240 Students who then work within their student and home communities to manage and transform conflicts. The programme adopts a highly practical and participative approach.
